This vine curls around the tree like jewelry, adorning her partner with delicate strands and leaves that offer beauty to the beholder. My neighbour tells me that this plant is great for making a tea for colds. Me and the kids have also discovered that it tastes delicious eaten straight off the tree. Each leaf is juicy and has a flavor similar to a delicate fennel and a fresh crunchiness that reminds me of apples. I found out the local name but I’m still looking for the botanical name of this healing, delicious and beautiful plant. Do you know it?
