Barefoot walking in the forest. This time it was not because I wanted to do a grounding practice but simply from necessity…my shoes were way too slippery and walking barefoot was my safest option! I love feeling the oozing mud between my feet, walking mindfully, being grounded and harnessing the Earth energy while barefoot but I’d also sometimes like the option of walking and running without worrying about scraping my tootsies on sharp rocks! Any recommendations for healthy, earth connected footwear or should I just toughen up for barefoot hiking?
